News from the Primary Coordinator

Dear Parents/Guardians and friends of Sirius College,

Welcome to another addition of our newsletter. It is always great to see what our students are up to and the newsletter and our social media pages (twitter, Facebook, Instagram) provide a great medium for it.

It has been a good start to the term with NAPLAN for years 3 & 5, parent teacher interviews, excursions and incursions. Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm with our school programs and events.

Student Drop Off and Pick Up

Student safety is the highest priority at Sirius College. We have to make every effort to ensure that all students are under appropriate supervision at all times. Our school hours are 8.50AM to 3.35PM. Students are expected to be at school between 8.30am - 8.45am. If, for a good reason, a student arrives late he/she must report to the general office. If a student is expected to be late, then a parent must notify the school prior to 8.45am. The earliest we can accept students being dropped off to school is at 8.30AM. Students MUST be picked up by 3.35PM. If your child is not picked up by 3.45PM they will be escorted to the after school care program, which will incur a fee. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
